This next few months will be significant ones for the INRM as we gear up for our annual busy season at the Spokane Interstate Fair in early September for what may very well be the last time. Following on the heels of the fair, on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 21, we will have the official groundbreaking for our new museum building at the Reardan site. (See all of the details here.) This will be the first of many building projects in the years to come, and will be large enough to allow us to finally move off the fairgrounds and begin operations as a full-fledged museum. Following the groundbreaking, we will co-sponsor the annual Fall Spokane Train Show at the fairgrounds in October. So, come and join us for any or all of these exciting events!
